I am a researcher at Google DeepMind working on making Gemini better at science. I have broad experience in LLM post-training, scaling reinforcement learning algorithms, distributed training and inference infrastructure, and synthetic data generation.

Originally from Newcastle, Australia, I now live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my partner and two children. Outside of work I’m an avid skier, guitarist, and tennis player, and take my coffee very seriously.
